Should the government set aside millions to document celebrity gossip?
Celebrity gossip is getting more and more importan every day. Have you seen the way it is now "bleeding over" from the celebrity segments on CNN into the Headline News and other hard news features? I think it is hight time we started taking it very seriously. The government needs to set aside millions, now, to begin cataloging it so we don't loose any important data. This way our heirs won't suffer from a tragic data loss. What I propose is a renewable grant of $572,000,000 (five hundred and seventy two million) to get the ball rolling. Later, Congress can review the sum and make adjustments. Then we need to put a new wing on the Library of Congress. I perceive that this wing will be about 60% (sixty per cent) of the size of the original structure. Then all of this information should be bound and catelouged. I a propose leather bound gilt edged journal with the title "Zeitschrift für den Berühmtheitsklatsch," in keeping with the accademic nature of the project.
